IBS #5 Mark 10:47-51

Mark 10:47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 And many rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49 And Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” And they called the blind man, saying to him, “Take heart. Get up; he is calling you.”

“Call him” ... to hear these words from Jesus is the most important thing one could hear. Jesus for sure asks this question to all yet unfortunately to many choose to ignore it. Anyone that hears this call and yet chooses not to go to Jesus begins the process of hardening their heart. For this Bild man he probably wouldn't get another chance to come to Jesus (at least while He was walking on the earth) however, today it is very likely that one might hear Jesus say come multiple times in their life. While many might say that they will just wait until they are old then they will answer Jesus’ call, but every time someone ignores His call their heart becomes harder to the call and in turn it becomes harder to say yes, the next time you hear the call.

Any time I hear for God this week I am going to obey.
