2 Corinthians 10:5
We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,
I really enjoy to looking into different arguments and opinions. I think that it is ironic how there is no good argument for the inexistence of God. Yet everyone of the arguments against God (which are crummy at best) are clung to by so many who do want to admit the existence of God. Paul says that in Christ they destroy ALL of the arguments and opinions that others hold that are against the knowledge of God, I think that it us important to see how Paul didn't say that he destroys all the arguments and opinions that others hold period. But he made sure to put that “against the knowledge of God” part so that we would know that Paul wasn't just going around trying to argue with everyone that steps up to him, but when someone would come to him wanting to disprove God he then defends the existence of God.

Today I will not argue anything except for the existence of God.

IBS Galatians 3:2

Galatians 3:2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? In this verse Paul is asking the Galatians a rhetorical question and is just meaning for them to start thinking about the genius of their faith. This is something that we can all can benefit from doing. Any time that we as Christians start getting faith and works confused we immediately start loosing the effectiveness of our ministry. When you first hear this you might think to yourself "well atleast others will benefit from my ministry, right?" But so often we fail to realize that the Lord doesn't what to use our ministry to just benefit other, but rather He wants it to benefit us as well. If God only cared about getting the ministry done then He could just speak the words then it would be done and that would even be much more efficient, but rather He decides to use us an imperfect and sinful people to do His ministry. 1 Timothy 6:6-7

1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain, 7 for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world We as Christians should be able to be completely content with just having Christ, however more often than not this isn’t the case. I look at my life and how often I am driven with un-contentment and the desire for more, but this shouldn’t be so. There are however other times in my life where I have been able to just rest in the Lord and when I am doing that He completely meets every want that I have. Not to say that He gave my everything that I wanted, but rather that me gave me complete satisfaction in Him.
